Planning, shopping, basting, baking, peeling, prepping, arranging… a lot has to happen before you sit down to that Thanksgiving dinner. And after the pie and post-turkey nap, there’s all the clearing, soaking and scrubbing.
For the Martha Stewarts and Alton Browns among us, this is prime time to show off. For the rest of us, though, preparing the Thanksgiving meal is utter chaos.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. This year, Brick House Tavern + Tap is giving you one more thing to be thankful for. In addition to all your pub-style favorites, we’ll be serving up turkey with all the fixins on Nov. 23 and 24.
Our Thanksgiving Plate is built around our juicy house-roasted turkey and comes served with soup or garden salad, haricot verts, mashed potatoes, dressing, brown gravy and — because the meal would be incomplete without it — a big slice of pumpkin pie, all for just $16.95. Try it with one of our featured beverages like the new Pumpkin Guinness or our Twisted Old Fashioned.
Kids can also get in on the action with our smaller Kids’ Thanksgiving Plate, which comes with all of the above, minus soup, salad and pie (although these items can, of course, be added on).
We’ll also be offering our special seasonal Butternut Squash Bisque — $3 for a cup and $5 for a bowl.
And because football is as much a Thanksgiving tradition as those little marshmallows on the sweet potato casserole, we’ll be showing the big games — yep, all of them — on our big-screen TVs. Join us after your feast for football, drinks and friend time.
