They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We say brunch is the most epic meal of the week. That’s why at Brick House Tavern + Tap, our kitchen slings out the goods on both Saturday and Sunday, giving you and your gang ample opportunity to get your grub on.
And with spring finally here, we can think of no better time to get together for brunch. Stroll in at your leisure and request your favorite booth or a spot outside on one of our beautiful patios.
In need of a little hair of the dog? The term comes from an old Scottish practice of sprinkling dog hair over a dog bite to prevent infection. We’re not so sure the FDA would approve this cure, but the tradition carried over into drinking. The logic goes that if you had a little too much fun the night before, some alcohol in the morning will help lessen the effects of a hangover. We still advocate lots of water and some ibuprofen, but either way, we’ve got some amazing day drinks on deck.
Try the Bloody Good Mary (Skyy vodka, Zing Zang, Guinness and pickle juice topped with a deviled egg, salami, smoked cheddar, olive skewer and spiced pork rind rim), Blood Orange Whiskey Sour (Maker’s Mark, blood orange liqueur and lemon), House Mimosa (champagne and orange juice topped with your choice of Grand Marnier, Chambord, Peach Schnapps, Cointreau or blood orange liqueur) or Moscow Mule (Russian Standard vodka, lime, mint and ginger beer).
And psst: Those mimosas are just $2 a pop — the next best thing to bottomless.
And because brunch is about comfort food, we’re proud to offer the classics, which Chef Tim updates with a global gastronomic twist. Think Southern Fried Chicken Benedict (spicy buttermilk-marinated fried chicken, poached eggs, toasted brioche and Sriracha bacon hollandaise served with cheddar potato hash), Grand Marnier French Toast (hand-cut brioche, Grand Marnier-macerated Granny Smith apples and crispy potatoes) and Bison Benedict (hand-formed bison and beef sausage, poached eggs, toasted brioche, charred queso fresco and green chile hollandaise served with cheddar potato hash).
We’re also excited to unleash two new brunch cocktails coming soon: Salty Dog and The Cure. Word on the street is that The Cure is going to be your new go-to drink on those brunchy mornings when you’re still feeling the night before.
So call up your crew. It’s time for brunch at Brick House.
